Muse

 White-Water
Muse is the spirit of inspiration, here are the Words of a Canadian writer Val B Russell.

?
I’m going to write a poem
about not being able to write a poem
that blank white accuser keeps staring at me
cold and harsh
mocking my lack of emotional interpretation
creative credentials being what they are
an intangible made real by a collection of words written by one
read by many
To be truthful,  I’ve been dumped by the fickle muse
abandoned in mid sentence
during the dropping of a comma
just left there to my own devices
bereft of all clever designs
I am now resigned
to adjust to the empty space between my ears
a dirty smoke stack silence replacing intelligent thought
a jumble of idiot letters
with no meaning beyond the lack of meaning
and one eternal    ————-> ?

That's a beauty of a photo. It reminds me of the north shore of Lake Superior, here in my home state. And the poem is something I can definitely relate to. So many unfinished poems in my folder...

..he he...what a poem...empty space between my ears..yes indeed it feels like that ...

what I wrote in my last comment..have noe idea..but I think it must have been according to Ramme Alvor´s outfit..I wrote that Ramme alvor is not her real name..but it means Very Serious in norwegian...she indeed is..but I must admit that she does not wear that outfit every day.....I thougf\ht that if I borrowed one of your great pictures on the right side of your blog for my new profilepicture..I may be able to reach some more readers....is that possible??? Marit..only joking of course....very seldom serious this girl...

Your fotos are incredible! Thanks so much for stopping by my place and I am really looking forward to enjoying your really beautiful art! I am amazed at what gifted people can do with a camera as I am pretty challenged to take a good picture :-)

So nice to have found your lovely space.

Y, la poesia es perfecto tambien!

Picture and poem: muse and no muse, famine and plenty? Whatever, together they make a fine post.

Thanks for sharing your intimate landscapes with us. I can see the North Shore of Lake Superior here too.
I love that about photography, your image brings me to a place in my past - miles and years apart from the image you present. Nice work and Good Eye, mate.

Your photography is so beautiful - like paintings - and Val is a champion!

You have recognised Val's skill of allowing the words to tumble with barely a flicker of diversion to their own direction. What a fantastic pairing! The light you create in your photography is astounding.

Hi, hello, olá!
"...no meaning beyond the lack of meaning..."...gostei particularmente desta frase...curiosamente pareceu-me cheia de sentido!
