I think this is my favorite picture I've seen of yours. I admit that there is something emotional that touches me in all the pics, but this one hit me in the solar plexus. It's like a precious moment in time encapsulated. I think I can almost smell the tides and feel the ridges in the shell. Thank you. That made my work day seem trivial. Time to go explore the beauty in my surroundings.

I live near the sea but other than a few starfish and crab we don't often encounter colourful creatures like this. There is virtually no tide here and I miss that, what the sea leaves behind on a beach when it leaves for a few hours. I like where you've placed it in the picture, the angle is perfect because it gives the viewer the impression of looking down onto the sand.
