Photography in a sense is also a feeling, what I see through the viewfinder is not just a frame. The moment can be exhilarating, calm, mundane, beautiful or something else. When I press the shooter I freeze the moment and also my emotions.

    I'm certain I just saw a sockeye leap in the air. :) Your words are completely true, you do freeze your emotions in these photographs and therein lies the artistry, to meld your feelings with the image.

    I love this photo! Photography is an amazing means of capturing beauty. It reminds me of something I read recently, "To not simply be lulled by beauty but to read God in the beauty, the eyes need wear His word and to see a thousand gifts, a thousand features of His face, I first need slow my life, wear a lens of words, and turn the inner eye."
