I am surprised there are not more comments on this shot. The simplicity adds to the beauty of it. I always stop a few seconds to look at this one longer.

Thank you for the comments and attention Heather. This photo was taken in my backyard in Florida I believe in 2004 if I am not wrong. I used a macro zoom lens straight to the top of the flower. Even that I made more a close up that a macro, but that was intentional; the flower is indeed a very small one.
