I think this is my favorite picture I've seen of yours. I admit that there is something emotional that touches me in all the pics, but this one hit me in the solar plexus. It's like a precious moment in time encapsulated. I think I can almost smell the tides and feel the ridges in the shell. Thank you. That made my work day seem trivial. Time to go explore the beauty in my surroundings.
Simplicity itself... very nice.
Beautiful!
Nature creates beauty as well as destruction!
Beautiful, the detail in the shell is well captured and very lovely indeed! :-)
A beautiful detail!
I live near the sea but other than a few starfish and crab we don't often encounter colourful creatures like this. There is virtually no tide here and I miss that, what the sea leaves behind on a beach when it leaves for a few hours. I like where you've placed it in the picture, the angle is perfect because it gives the viewer the impression of looking down onto the sand.
Beautifull shell i never found something like that...
Great Photo
The old shell game . . . wonderful image Adrian. Such a simple/complex beauty. Love the composition.
I love shells (since Weston's) and regret there is no tide here in Iowa.
Verry beautiful shell!
